Training and training has always been of serious concern to the Association’s ideals, whether delivered directly by member companies or through the Association’s own training department. All ACTSP trainers are qualified and certificated to standards defined by the Association and by the Safety and Security Professional Authority where appropriate. Trainers may register their competencies with the Association and this information enables the Association to meet training requirements globally. All registered trainers are required to maintain competence in the specialist areas that they are qualified to deliver within.
The Association regularly update designed courses to meet up addressing contemporary issues. Courses leading to qualifications required by the Safety and Security Industry Authority for the purpose of licensing are being developed as part of the further development of training services.
ACTSP offers a number of standard training courses, although customised modules and full training packages can be designed to meet with a client’s requirements.
